This study investigates the efficacy of COZING-BQ06A intranasal laser therapy as a treatment for caffeine addiction in a sample of 40 drug addicts. Here are the key findings and methods:
Study Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of low-intensity laser nasal irradiation therapy in reducing protracted withdrawal symptoms associated with caffeine addiction.
Participants: A total of 40 drug addicts (20 men and 20 women) aged between 18-40 years with a history of caffeine addiction lasting 1-2 years.
Treatment Groups: Participants were randomly divided into two groups:
Group A: Received low-intensity laser nasal irradiation therapy using the COZING-BQ06A device.
Group B: Served as the comparison group and received standard drug rehabilitation center treatment, including medications such as sleeping pills and painkillers.
Treatment Protocol:
Group A received laser therapy for 60 minutes once a day for 10 days. The power of the laser was 4-5mW, with a power density of 1.59-3.18mW/mm2.
Outcome Measures: Blood rheology parameters, including whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, hematocrit (HCT) percentage, and blood sedimentation, were assessed before and after treatment.
Results:
The results demonstrated a significant improvement in blood rheology parameters following nasal laser irradiation therapy.
Plasma viscosity and hematocrit levels showed a significant decrease after laser therapy, indicating improved blood flow dynamics.
