4 Medical Laser Clinical Study

We explored the impact of a Multiwave Locked System laser, which emits 904 nm continuous waves and 650nm pulsed waves simultaneously, on the spinal cord post-injury in rats.

Locomotor assessments indicated a significant enhancement in the movement abilities of rats receiving laser therapy from the first week after injury, compared to the control group. Additionally, the laser treatment notably reduced thermal hyperalgesia after SCI(‌spinal-cord-injury)‌, as evidenced by the Plantar test.

These findings suggest that dual-wavelength light therapy at 904 nm and 650 nm could be a promising non-invasive method for improving functional recovery and reducing tissue damage after spinal cord injuries.
