How does COZING-USBO7 laser mouth ulcer treatment work?
Laser treatment for mouth ulcers works by utilizing focused laser energy to target and heal the ulcerated area in the Oral cavity. The laser emits concentrated light energy, which penetrates the tissue at the ulcer site. This energy is absorbed by the cells in the affected area. The laser energy helps to reduce the nerve sensitivity around the ulcer, leading to immediate pain relief. This is particularly beneficial for patients experiencing significant discomfort from their mouth ulcers. The laser treatment helps to reduce inflammation in the ulcerated area. The light energy inhibits inflammatory mediators, which helps to decrease swelling and redness associated with the ulcer.
COZING-USBO7 laser mouth ulcer treatment Clinical study:
Using near-infrared (NIR) monochromatic light for photobiomodulation can impact cell functions such as proliferation, viability, and metabolism across various cell types. While there has been evidence of near-infrared light's effects on endothelial cells, previous studies primarily utilized visible light from low-energy lasers due to concerns that NIR wavelengths could negatively affect these cells. In this study, human endothelial cells (HECV) were exposed to 808-nm diode laser light emitted by a handpiece with a flat-top profile. Cell viability, oxidative stress, NF-κB activation, nitric oxide release, mitochondrial respiration, and wound healing repair were evaluated. Results showed that irradiation with 808-nm diode laser light for 60 seconds did not affect cell viability. However, irradiated cells exhibited increased proliferation and migration rates, along with a moderate increase in ROS production without significant oxidative stress. Near-infrared light also stimulated mitochondrial oxygen consumption and ATP synthesis in HECV cells. Moreover, short-term NIR irradiation stimulated wound healing, likely through ROS-mediated enhancement of mitochondrial activity.
These findings suggest that NIR light promotes a shift from anaerobic to aerobic metabolism, offering potential molecular mechanisms for photobiomodulation with 808-nm diode laser light to protect against inflammation-induced endothelial dysfunction and enhance therapeutic effects.
